Originally, the artist's paintings were dominated by black, grey and blue. By the end of the 1980s, Kasprzyk's paintings represented a metaphorical record of communist reality. Gradually, the tonality of his works changed, becoming colourful and joyful, with noticeable influences from Italian painting.
